As a blogger, it’s often hard to wade through the thousands upon thousands of Android apps to find ones that are useful and relevant to daily life. More often than not,we now use our smartphones for everything. Here is a list of 7 apps that I’ve found very useful. They are not in any particular order.
Dolphin Browser
A fast and smooth web browser for your phone. Includes a personalized home screen and gesture control.
WordPress
Most bloggers (including me) prefer to use WordPress for their blog platform. This app is perfect for blogging on the go. It’s not the best for full scale blogging, but it’s perfect for those quick on the spot posts.
Kindle for Android
One of my favorite apps. Great for reading books on the go. Right now I’m in the middle of reading ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income and there are so many other excellent books available for Kindle. Another great feature for this app is the ability to read PDF files with it.
Pinterest is great for expanding your readership as well as finding great ideas to blog about. Not to mention the amount of time that you can spend just browsing through all of the neat ideas that are stored here. The only caveat that I would have is that you need to set a timer or else you will be here ALL day. It is very addicting.
Pocket is a great app for storing those web pages that you want to read later. Once you put something in pocket, you can go back and read it later even without an internet connection or phone service. This is great for those long flights without wifi. Simply store the pages (or blogs) that you want to spend time reading and they will be available any time any where. This app also syncs from your computer to your phone and vice versa.
Evernote
Trying to be more organized? Want to improve your productivity? Evernote is like a second brain. Keep your to-do lists, copy notes, save images from the web and much more with this app. This one also syncs across all of your devices making it easy to keep up with your buy day.
Instagram is a great photo sharing social network. You have to have the app to share the pictures. I don’t use this one as often as I’d like. My phone is a bit clunky with this app but then again my phone is just clunky period. I enjoy looking at all the photos shared here. I would love to follow you onecrazymomma_blog
These are the 7 apps that I use mot frequently as a blogger. Of course, Facebook and Twitter are 2 more apps that I use everyday. They are usually pre-installed on most phones these days so I didn’t include them. Are there any other apps that you can think of that are “must haves”? Let me know in the comments below..
