It seems like I’m so busy entertaining kids this summer that I don’t have time for anything else. I have not blogged in like forever. It’s just crazy, I tell you! The kids across the street moved out shortly after I wrote about them. So now there is no one else for my kids to play with.

I have played more “Go Fish” “Old Maid” and “War” than should be legally allowable. Don’t even get me started on how many fights I’ve had to separate. But the truth is, I wouldn’t give it up for the world!

Kids grow so fast and soon they won’t have time for me. It happens to everyone eventually. Already I see it in the older kids. They are too busy and too old to play with mom anymore. Their time revolves around the phone, computer and xbox.

 

So while I get frustrated with being a full time entertainer for 3 kids, I know I’ll miss it when it’s gone. My blog will still be here come August 22 but the kids won’t. They will have returned to school and their friends. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts. Until then, my updates will be fewer than I’d like. And I’m not sorry at all…
