A Visit to the Circus

Just the name alone inspires awe and excitement in me.

I’ve been enthralled with the circus since I was a small kid. I’ve always wanted to take my kids to the circus and I was finally able to do just that on New Year’s Day, no less.

From the moment we entered the Tampa Bay Times Forum, we had a great time. We got there a little later than I wanted so the girls weren’t able to take part in the meet and greet before the circus began.

I think I spent most of the evening on the edge of my seat. I loved every act. Each one was incredible.

The elephants, the tigers and lions, the motorcycles in the “globe of death” the acrobats. and then…

My girls are already asking to go visit the Ringling Brothers Circus again..and I’m looking forward to taking them back for another visit.

  1. I went to the circus once and I hated it, but I am a big chicken and scared of animals, it made me so nervous that the elephants were going to just jump over and get us all in the audience….ahhhhhhhh. I will probably have to bite the bullet and take the littles, but its scary to this mama!

  2. I cannot wait until they come here! I love watching the tigers, and all of the different acrobats! You took some great pics, too!

  3. Oh how I used to love going to the circus when I was young. The circus comes here once each year and I always say the wife and I should go — “maybe next year”. For now, I’ll live vicariously through your blog post 🙂
